Tolls
The use of all motorways, expressways and city motorways in Austria is subject to the payment of tolls. The toll is paid by purchasing a 'vignette' sticker, which is available abroad from drivers’ clubs as well as at filling stations close to the border, and in Austria at filling stations, ÖAMTC, ARBÖ, post offices and tobacconists. Drivers of single-track motor vehicles (motorcycles) can purchase a 10-day vignette sticker (€5.80), a 2-month vignette sticker (€14.50) or an annual vignette sticker (€38.20). Details.
